Created in April 2015 The Lens team is developing. Diverse, knowledgeable and with a strong focus on supporting you, it will respond and change over time.
Steve McCreadie - CEO
Steve has a distinctive combination of strategic leadership, business development, management and academic experience. Steve created, designed and founded The Lens and is recognised as a thought leader in intrapreneurship.
Steve has led award winning services and is passionately committed to improving peoples lives.
Jane Whitworth - Developer & Coach
Jane brings a blend of consulting experience and a rich understanding of the third sector. Prior to joining The Lens, Jane led the development of the Cranfield Trust in Scotland. She has extensive experience in strategic problem solving, managing change and supporting both teams and individuals to achieve positive change.
The combination of developing ideas and developing people attracted her to The Lens and she will play an active role in supporting and developing intrapreneurship across our partners.
Bob Keiller - Delivery Partner
Bob is the former Chair of Scottish Enterprise and one of Scotland’s leading, internationally renowned business people with many awards and accolades.
Bob is a highly accomplished public speaker, and a leading exponent of the use of business storytelling, having used it to great effect to win multi million pound contracts in the oil and gas industry. Bob is a much-valued member of The Lens team, providing his time on a pro bono basis. He delivers Business Storytelling Workshops for our intrapreneurs and Values Based Leadership Workshops for our third sector partner CEOs and senior leaders.
Megan McAlear - Programme Support
Megan has a First-Class Honours degree in Human Resource Management. Megan’s skill set is perfectly suited to her role in relationship and project management, engaging staff and encouraging participation at every level.
An accomplished event manager, Megan has led numerous Lens events and finals to great success. Megan has a keen interest in mission aligned organisational investment and development.
Iain Delworth - Operations
Iain brings a wealth of operations, project and event management experience to the team having worked in a variety of roles in different sectors. He has recently stepped down as Head of Operations for TEDxGlasgow having been part of the team that led it to grow to be one of the most established TEDx events in Europe.
He still continues to coach their speakers.
Rachael Hood - Developer
Prior to joining the Lens team, Rachael has worked in both Scotland and Melbourne, Australia, leading the design and delivery of youth and family services in different contexts.
With a background in Community Learning Development that underpins her approach, Rachael continues an interest in different notions of and connections between wellbeing, empowerment and citizenship through continuing studies and in various professional projects.
Cat Paterson - Developer
Prior to joining The Lens, Cat led a high performing team of intelligence analysts at the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency, bringing a mix of problem solving and project management to the fight against serious and organised crime.
Cat is an experienced coach and collaborates with others to develop connections, collaboration and an impact for Fierce and Fab Women in business.
Claire Gibson - Developer
Claire’s experience spans roles from Chief Executive to Social Worker and she is currently a Trustee of a national grant giving foundation.
Claire brings a unique blend of operational management and strategic leadership with a particular interest in the systemic change needed for the growth and leadership of public services in Scotland.
Megan Fraser - Developer
Before joining The Lens, Megan held leadership, consultative, and educational roles in entrepreneurship, small business consulting, and the third sector.
Megan now runs her own coaching practice in Edinburgh where she works 1-1 with clients from a variety of industries as well as being Learning & Business Coach for Climate-KIC, Europe’s largest climate innovation incubator and Lead Coach for Good Ideas, the incubator programme for The Melting Pot.
Susan Perry - Developer
Susan is an experienced coach, facilitator and change management professional who has had a successful HR career spanning over 20 years across private, public, third and professional sectors.
She has been at the heart of transformational change programmes to deliver cultural change and fundamentally believes that an engaged workforce enhances organisational performance.
